burn-mail helps Robert Burnside and participating family members turn selected emails into useful briefings, reminders, and alerts.
It does not offer public registration, connect to Gmail, or provide access to the private assistant.
What it does
The private assistant searches authorized email accounts for relevant messages, prepares daily or weekly summaries, and highlights time-sensitive items such as appointments, cancellations, and payment notices.
Why Gmail access is needed
Read-only Gmail authorization lets the assistant find and read relevant messages. This permission does not allow it to send, edit, or delete Gmail messages.
Private operation, clear disclosure
burn-mail runs in a privately managed environment using Hermes. Selected email content may be processed by configured AI providers, and briefings may be delivered to configured WhatsApp recipients. It is not a public email service.
